Rest, reflect, restore.
Mindfulness.
My yoga and mindfulness classes offer a valuable opportunity to find time and space in your busy life, the space you need to check in with your body and mind. I know how hard it can be to slow down sometimes, it can feel like you are drowning under a mountainous to-do list and there is no time to sit still or that time spent not working is wasted. This couldn’t be further from the truth; carving out time to reflect and reset is a fundamental key to unlocking your true potential. I’ve heard it said that the person who doesn’t have time to meditate for 10 minutes needs to meditate for an hour; it’s true. I spent over a decade working in high pressured corporate environments avoiding yoga and other more restorative practices and preferring high impact training. The short-term results were great, I achieved the rush of endorphins I was looking for and had a way to channel my stress and frustration but over time my fitness plateaued as my body and mind were exhausted. Incorporating yoga and mindfulness into my routine has helped my muscle recovery and improved my flexibility and overall performance. It has also enabled me to tap more readily into my parasympathetic nervous system; I’m calmer, more focussed and increasingly resilient. I want others to share these benefits and my clients have reported better sleep, less stress, better focus at work and improved athletic performance from regularly practicing with me.
I offer yoga, meditation, and mindfulness privately, both 121 and in small groups. Please enquire for pricing.
I also deliver a range of different all-level yoga classes and workshops in person and on Zoom. Sign up for my newsletter to get the latest updates on when these are happening.
“You are worth the quiet moment. You are worth the deeper breaths and you are worth the time it takes to slow down, be still, and rest.”
— Morgan Harper Nichols
